Access - Year 2000 project for a major insurance firm.
For an International Insurance Company, converted the Ledger Reconciliation and Cash Flow Billing applications originally developed in DataEase 4.53 on a DOS platform to Access 97. The application is developed on Windows 95 / Windows NT platforms.
These systems required conversion from a two digit year format to a four digit year format and also required extensive testing and certification to verify Year 2000 compliance.
The conversion required a complete rewrite of the code while maintaining the same functionality as the original system. Comprehensive documentation was created for the converted system.
